There’s a lot happening in St. Louis in the last couple weeks of September. Here’s my best-list for this work-week!
- St. Louis Strong will host their second community roundtable discussion on how to improve the St. Louis region. These community discussions aim to bring members of the community together to answer the question, “How do we make St. Louis strong?” Monday’s discussion will take place at the Indian Trails Branch of the St. Louis County Library from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (400 Delport Dr. Overland, MO 63114). The third and last roundtable takes place at the Mid-County Branch of the St. Louis County Library on October 6th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (7821 Maryland Ave, St. Louis, MO 63105).
- 4101 Laclede is throwing a Block Party to celebrate the growing North Sarah District with complimentary food and drinks from local restaurants, music, and more. The event runs from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m and is free and open to the public.
- On Sept 15 & 16, Chicago’s legendary sketch and improv comedy theater returns to Sheldon Hall at 8pm with “Schlafly Presents The Best of The Second City“. The show features the best sketches and songs from The Second City’s 55-year history made famous by superstars – as well as their trademark improvisation. Sit, stay and laugh on Thursday’s opening night performance to benefit the no-kill animal shelter, Partners for Pets. Saving dogs and cats since 2002, Partners for Pets is committed to saving the lives of homeless animals in the St Louis Metro Area.
