What To Do In The Lou: Sept. 19 -23

Without an abundance of events this week I’m going to highlight some of the weekly features that can make any uneventful week more eventful but first:

Taco-Rita at St. Louis Public Radio – Tacos. Margaritas. St. Louis Public Radio. What’s not to like? Sounds like a good way to do dinner Wednesday night.

Now, on to the weekly fare:

Monday Night Yoga at Urban Chestnut – Urban Chestnut Brewing Company hosts a yoga class at their Grove location every Monday at 5:30 p.m. – the class costs $8.

Venture Cafe – The St. Louis Venture Café Gathering is held every Thursday on the at the @4240 building in the Cortex Innovation District from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.  The weekly Venture Café Gathering (Thursdays @ Venture Café) helps innovators and entrepreneurs find one another and collaborate to bring their dreams to reality. These Thursday evening gatherings provide a space for conversations and scheduled programs to inspire a wide range of attendees from around the world to connect. Please visit the Venture Café St. Louis website for more information.

Trivia Nights – seems like there’s a trivia night for every day of the week and every neighborhood. I’d recommend International Tap House’s Thursday night trivia in the Central West End location.

Thursday night swing at the Thaxton Speakeasy – If you want to spend the night like it’s the roaring 20s and learn some Swing or the Charleston while your at it come to the Thaxton. Complementary dance lessons at about 10:00 p.m. will you off on the right foot!

Have something to add to the list? Let me know!
